Chad Spensley

One of the most frustrating parts of living with a stutter or any speech and language difficulty is how challenging speaking can feel with every single attempt.

As someone who grew up with a severe stutter myself, I truly understand the daily struggles — both the mechanical difficulty and the emotional weight — that come with a speech impairment. I know firsthand how it can affect confidence, relationships, and everyday life.

My name is Chad Spensley. I was born and raised in Brighton, Michigan. Since 2011, I have been a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan. With more than 13 years of hands-on clinical experience across a wide range of settings — including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and acute care — I am fully qualified to address the full spectrum of speech and language needs.

I’m passionate about guiding both children and adults toward clearer, more confident communication through personalized, research-supported therapy.
